The Ohio Craft Museum is now open to the public, with limited hours and new protocols in place. The health and safety of museum visitors is our highest priority. We are currently open from 10 am – 2 pm Tuesday through Saturday. Closed Sunday and Monday. All visitors and staff must wear masks and practice social distancing. Adult Workshops at the Ohio Craft Museum

DIY and other specialty workshops are for adults and teens who want to try out new media in a fun and social atmosphere. The media offered often align with the seasons or with exhibitions in the gallery space, such as quilt surface design, weaving, jewelry-making, mixed media and more. Virtual Creative Collage with Judi Young

Friday, October 16, 6:30-8:00pm

Fall Friday fun! Friday nights out aren’t what they used to be, but they can still be fun! Enjoy the live virtual Zoom class at home and create a torn-paper collage with artist Judi Young. Celebrate fall by making your very own whimsical design with this simple meditative process. This class is suitable for both adults and teens.

Class Fee: $25 includes all materials (canvas, decorative paper, glue, sponge brush). Kits will be available for pickup at the museum prior to class. Shipping is available for an additional fee: email Phyllis for more information.

Announcing another season of Lunch + Learn classes, co-hosted by Sunapple Studio and the Ohio Craft Museum

We are once again offering a monthly series of FREE art classes September through May at the Ohio Craft Museum, bringing community members and Sunapple artists with developmental differences together to create art in a social atmosphere. Participants will explore a variety of media and techniques throughout the academic year and are invited to bring a lunch. Classes are held noon-1:30pm on one Thursday each month. Class Cancelled – March 19 – Clay Cactus Flower – Create a sweet little succulent out of clay. Kaitlyn Miller, from Buckeye Ceramics Supply, will teach clay hand-building techniques to complete a piece that will then be embellished with colorful underglazes. These pieces will be dried, fired and available for pickup a week or two after class. Join us in the fun! (please only one person per signup)

Registration is still required for these free classes, as space is limited and classes fill quickly. Registration opens approximately one month prior to the class.
