The Art Studio Clearance Sale

Is Back for its 24th Year!

FEBRUARY 2–3, 2018

(Columbus, Ohio)—The Art Studio Clearance Sale is moving to new dates and

times for its 24th year! This year’s juried event will now be presented Friday,

February 2, noon–7 pm, and Saturday, February 3, 10 am–4 pm.—still at the

Lausche Building on the Ohio State Fairgrounds. The sale will offer high-quality

fine art and fine craft by 160 artists from across the country at discount prices.

This year’s roster of artists includes many returning favorites, along with a

number of new artists creating exciting work.

Shoppers come from across the state to purchase beautiful, handcrafted jewelry,

wheel-thrown pottery, fine wearables, blown glass, photography, paintings and

more at price reductions of 20%–60%. This is the only time during the year that

many of these artists reduce their prices,” stated ODC Executive Director Betty

Talbott. “Savvy shoppers have discovered that this is the perfect place to purchase

high-quality, handcrafted work at lower prices. And the roster of artists changes

every year, so you never know what you’re going to find.”

The Lausche Building at the Ohio State Fairgrounds is located on the north side

of 17th Ave., directly off Interstate 71. NEW HOURS: 12 p.m.–7 p.m. on Friday,

February 2, and 10 a.m.–4 p.m. on Saturday, February 3. Admission is just $6;

ODC members and children 12 and under free. Tickets can be purchased online at or at the door. Discount tickets can be purchased at the Ohio

Craft Museum in Columbus.

The Art Studio Clearance Sale is produced by Ohio Designer Craftsmen (ODC), a

nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of

fine craft, and helping artists develop and enhance professional skills. ODC
