Telling a Story

A Woven Journey
February 10, 1:00pm–4:00pm
Join me as I share my creative journey and the many paths it has taken me down. Discover the simple meditative process of weaving as you learn to make a small ribbed pouch. Nature provides a palette of possibilities, and we’ll use natural items to create something that is uniquely you.
Mapping Our Poems:
A Poetry Workshop
March 9, 1:00pm–4:00pm
In this generative and contemplative writing workshop, we will begin by working with a word, phrase or line from other poems and map our own ideas, feelings, rhythms, syntaxes as inspired by the source text. Next, we will explore how to craft our own poems, deepen our experience of writing and word choice, generate new language for imagery and description, and produce a well of creative ideas!
Saturdays, 1:00 pm–4:00 pm
$40 per workshop or $110 for all three
