Family and Children’s Programming
The Ohio Craft Museum offers a variety of educational programming for children, teens and families, such as Hand-in-Hand family workshops, summer art camps, teen workshops, holiday gift-making workshops and more.
Summer Camp and Teen Workshops
The focus of our summer art camps and workshops is all about creativity and fun! No matter what path we end up taking in life, creativity expands our options and allows us a different view of the world around us. Our goal is to offer projects that encourage children and teens to use their imaginations, explore different media and develop practical skills as a maker of art. See you this summer!

Lets Play Sculptionary!
At summer camp each year, we make lots of play dough. As a lunchtime activity, we use it to play Sculptionary! Making play dough is simple and fun! Check Pinterest for lots of different recipes, depending on what ingredients you have on hand. Click Here for a recipe!
We play Sculptionary by giving each child a small piece of play dough. One person holds up flash cards with words of objects to sculpt like, toothbrush, flower, hat, etc. Another person, who doesn’t know the word on the flash card, tries to guess. Of course this version involves a lot of people, at home with less people you’ll have to be creative in playing this game. Maybe you play the game remotely with family or friends. Be creative and have fun!
Be well & stay creative
