New! Home School Arts
Art Through Time – Grade 1-6

We are excited to announce that the Ohio Craft Museum is now offering an art program for home schoolers that will incorporate the foundations of art history in an interesting, fun, hands-on approach for young artists. Each month students will travel back in time and learn about art from a different point in history through various art projects. Activities will help develop creativity and critical thinking skills, using a variety of media, art elements, principles and techniques.
Classes will be offered the second Wednesday of each month from 1-3:00 p.m.
Fee per class: $10
Session 1: November 9th – “Inside the Cave” – prehistoric art
Session 2: December 14th – “Discoveries in the Tomb” – Egyptian Art
Session 3: January 11th – “Natural Harmony” – Native American Arts
Session 4: February 8th – “Hello, Fruit Face!” – Italian Art
Session 5: March 8th – “Artful Experimentation” – Abstract Expressionism
Session 6: April 12th – “Build-It” – Exploring Architecture
Session 7: May 10th – “American Craft” – Folkart & Crafts in America
