Saturday, February 22nd, 1pm – 4pm
We will be creating a mural together to honor the legacy and impact of artist Aminah Robinson, using items like buttons, string and found objects in homage to the materials Aminah used for her own murals. Students will also create their own small animal sculptures in the same style. This workshop will be led by Bryan Christopher Moss, a Grammy-nominated painter, illustrator and cartoonist. Moss was mentored by Robinson and became the first Aminah Robinson Artist-In-Residence at her home in 2020.
$45 class fee includes all supplies.
