Shawn began working with glass in 2005 and earned a Master’s degree in studio glass from the University of Wisconsin in 2012. He exhibits his decorative craft and sculpture regularly throughout the Midwest and has served as director of the Glass Program at the Indianapolis Art Center since 2018.
Ed uses recycled scrap wood from roughly 20 different wood species to make his yo-yos. Boxes and crates to hold the yo-yos are decorated with labels inspired by fruit crate art of the early 20th century. The labels feature rescued dogs. The common theme: rescued animals/recycled wood!
Deborah and Paul’s art consists of wood turnings using wood from fallen trees, with an emphasis on usable birdhouses, bird feeders, kitchen wooden ware & ornaments. They recycle forests into art.
