Julie holds a BFA from the Columbus College of Art and Design, and has worked as an illustrator and art instructor. Her functional ceramics are primarily wheel thrown and fired in an electric kiln. She uses stamps, oxides, underglazes and glazes to enhance the surfaces of her work.
