Megs attended CCAD in Columbus, Ohio, to pursue fashion design, but fate brought her to the ceramics lab where she found her love for clay. For the past few years she has been producing and developing the Botanical Collection, which uses traditional handbuilding techniques. Her surface treatment is terra sigillata with a mixture of sgraffito and mishima, and multiple glaze layers.
