Since 2016, SquidCat, Ink, has grown from a few sketchbooks full of doodles to a line of over 130 greeting cards and fine art prints. These reproductions of Simran’s original watercolor paintings feature bright, happy colors and expressive animal characters (and a pun here or there) to convey universal emotions. SquidCat is a character she created during her “doodle days” in high school. Simran wanted the name of her business to remind her that this is something she chose to do because she loves it, and because she couldn’t stop doing it.
