Each piece of jewelry is designed and hand-made in Deidre’s studio in Columbus, Indiana. The art form is called Millefiori and was created over 1000 years ago by Venetian glass blowers. The same art technique has been adapted for use in Polymer clay. The process involves wrapping and layering the colored clay so that each color is a different layer in the clay design. No paint or automated machinery is used in the production of this art work.
