Born in Taiwan, raised in Belize and educated in Canada, Yani has recently taken root in Columbus, Ohio. An active instructor at McConnell Arts Center, in Worthington, and Mansfield Art Center, she is also an artist-in-residence at High Road Gallery, in Worthington, where she works and teaches private art lessons.

Her inspiration comes from nature, shapes and forms. She enjoys playing with the use of positive and negative space through various forming and fusing techniques.
