For nearly 40 years, Chris has been designing and producing unique note cards featuring her hand-drawn original designs embellished with tatted lace, which is also made by hand. The tatted lace as an integral part of the design and represents a key element of the overall artwork. Tatting is the age-old art of making delicate lace by hand, looping and knotting a single cotton thread using a small shuttle.

Kristin is a 3D mixed media artist who makes found object sculptures, as well as working with ceramics and Apoxie Sculpt. She is drawn to minute details in painting and sculpture, and is especially inspired by edgy, thought-provoking and “dark” art that borders on creepy. Halloween, Pop Art, Day of the Dead, carnivals and folk art influences her work. Through the use of bright colors, complex patterns and surrealistic themes, she aspires to transport the viewer to an offbeat fantasy world.

A pysanka (plural: pysanky) is a Ukrainian Easter egg, decorated using beeswax and dyes. The designs are not painted on, but written with beeswax. Pysanka specifically refers to an egg created by the written-wax method and utilizing traditional Slavic folk motifs and designs. Heather creates beautiful Pysanky ornaments using traditional methods and techniques.
